What’s an early access pass?

A maximum of 300 early access ticket holders will get priority entry to the Festival from 11am-12pm on Saturday 6 June, one hour before door ticket sales start at 12. These tickets are your best chance to get in early with your favourite artist!

If I don’t buy an early access pass, is there any point in lining up for general admission?

Yes! With 45 walk-up artists tattooing over 20 hours, we conservatively estimate there will be around 600 tattoos done at Cap City - so there will be lots of spots available for those buying tickets at the door! Once general admission starts, there may be a bit of a wait depending on where you are in line, as entry will be first-come first-serve and subject to room capacity.

Are walk-up artists filling both days on Saturday at opening?

Some will, and others will book their slots day by day. We’re providing all artists with signage to indicate if they have slots available or not, so you’ll know when browsing if you can get in.

What’s included with my pass?

Passholders have unlimited access to Cap City and the @Halfcutbrewing Beer Garden for the duration of their ticket (day or weekend), as well as free entry to the official afterparty at @thecaplive. Enjoy our full lineup of live music, workshops at the @Beaverbrook_ag, Cap City Marketplace, and a range of deals and discounts at @downtown_fredericton businesses!

What if I don’t want a tattoo?

Come on out for the music, shopping, entertainment and to see some incredible art! We expect the biggest crowd right at the start, so if you want to avoid a wait we recommend coming a bit later.

Do I need a ticket for the Cap City market?

Nope! Head on upstairs to the Junior Ballroom for our Cap City marketplace - it’s free and open to the public, no ticket required!

What’s the age requirement to attend?

Children 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult (over 19). Artists will only be tattooing people who are 18+, and the bar will only be serving alcohol to those 19+.

 

Bring your ID if you are planning to drink or get tattooed.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes! Entry is free with a parent or guardian for kids 14 years old and under.

Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately no, no dogs will be permitted inside the ballroom where people are being tattooed.
